Cause
This was the year I graduated from my elementary school, Art City Elementary. This school is like my second home, and I appreciate all of my teachers so much for teaching me, not just science and arithmetic, but also life lessons that I will always keep in mind. This year I decided to donate to Art City Elementary, so that they could get better school supplies, and stuff like that. For my craft, I made ten different affirmation cards on Canva. Five of them had normal picture backgrounds. The other five featured my own artwork that I created.
Collection
This community helped me raise $2,100 to donate to Art City Elementary. Many people who donated had gone to Art City before, and they appreciated my cause. Again, the money was matched by Microsoft so I was able to donate double the amount of money I raised. All together I was able to raise $4,200 and everyone loved the affirmation cards.
Organization
I donated to Art City Elementary and they were able to afford ClearTouch Boards for four different classrooms. Two of those ClearTouch Boards were in the classrooms of two of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Alisa Morgan (my kindergarten teacher,) and Mrs. Jamie Huston (my fourth grade teacher.)
